Hi, I’m Yannick. I’m a physicist turned software developer, currently building software at worldiety in Oldenburg, Germany.
Before that I did research in statistical physics: rare events and large deviations in dynamical networks, from epidemics to power grids and supply networks.

Two ESP32-C6 boards drive a 398-LED stair strip in Rust, rewritten after occupancy sensors could only be recovered by power cycling. The firmware now resets them in software, and the demos here run the real effects code compiled to WebAssembly.
